The translations of Quran are not called Quran 2024.

Salam Alaikum

Hey Progression, you said: « Isn’t it obvious that Qur’an was written by some Arab men in the 6th century »
?Do you call what you wrote Qur’an
The translations of Qur’an are not called Qur’an. They are only the translations of the meaning of the Qur’an. The translations are not the words of Allah; they are the words of human beings who explain the words of Allah in their own ******** according to their own understanding and ability to translate.
The translation of the Qur’an can never be considered as a Qur’an in itself, in its ruling and sacredness. As I stated above the reason is that translation is not the word of Allah which was revealed to the prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); but it is human words offered to explain the Devine Revelation.
On this basis, the translated copy of the Qur’an doesn’t enjoy the same lofty standard of the original one; it doesn’t bear the sense of miracles initiated by Allah Almighty.
It is not possible to convey the message of the glorious Qur’an in this way for many reasons; I’ll mention only two or three:
1- The Foreign ******** can’t deliver the polysemy of the Qur’anic style; many words in the Qur’an have more than one meaning. Besides, the foreign ******** can never convey all these meanings in one word. If the translator chooses one of these meanings according to his methodology in translation, then the translation will be insufficient to deliver the whole message of verse.
2- Some specific meanings are expressed in general words; if a translator tries to convey these words without referring to the specific meaning, he will not bring the aim of using these words in the Qur’an.
In short, if you want to prove that Qur’an was written by Muhammad (peace be upon him) or some men, learn Arabic.
Allah challenged the Arabs to produce a literary work of a similar caliber like Qur’an. The Arabs found it an unapproachable task despite their well-known eloquence and literary prowess.

Give it a try and good luck to you.
